Serban Cornea at Xingyi rural development meeting

Serban Cornea will participate in a development project in Xingyi, the province of Guizhou, between the 1st of November and the 3rd of November 2014.

Serban Cornea, architect and MUTOPIA co-founder, will share his vision of how to solve urban problems, based upon how MUTOPIA translates challenges into opportunities for co-creation, development and innovation of urban environments.

The Xingyi project is part of the ‘Architecture and Welfare’ symposium, a Danish-Chinese collaboration focused on developing solutions for the sustainable development of the rural areas in China.

The project seeks solutions which can contribute to the growth and development of the traditions, culture and nature of the rural areas in response to the rapid urbanization of the Chinese cities.
