MUTOPIA’s competition proposal for a high density urban block URBAN CROWN is on display at The Louisiana Museum of Modern Art along with the results of the A101 competition as part of the exhibition LIVING/Frontiers of architecture III-IV.

The A101 Urban Block competition aimed at introducing a Block Size Standard as an Open Source in architecture, in order to enable the development of adaptable and affordable architecture based on worldwide mass-production of readymade projects.

The Urban Block competition is based on the Block City concept, developed by Bart Goldhoorn and Alexander Sverdlov in the context of the International Biennale in Rotterdam in 2009.
