Serban Cornea debates on Danish architectural policy at ‘Folkemødet’

Serban Cornea will take part in a debate on architectural policies and the future of Denmark together with The Danish Ministry of Culture Marianne Jelved, The President of The Danish Architects’ Association Natalie Mossin, The Mayor of Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality Iver Enevoldsen and Copenhagen City Architect Tina Saaby at The People’s Meeting ‘Folkemødet’, Denmark’s open air political festival on society’s opportunities and challenges.

The debate will consider the role of the architecture policies in shaping a better society as part of DK2050, an ambitious national project on urban development towards a carbon-free Denmark in 2050 headed by MUTOPIA and organized by the Danish Architecture Centre DAC.

How can architecture policies support long-term strategies that go beyond short-term political election promises? Can we achieve a better society in 2050 by strengthening citizen’s engagement into co-creation processes? And how can local governments strengthen their agendas for green transformation towards achieving a carbon-free society?

The event will take place the 13th of June, 13:00 – 14:00, at Kampeløkken Havn, “Dansk Arkitektur Center, H1″, Allinge, Bornholm.
